"Thingamajigs by Debbie" was uniquely created and produced by Keshet Productions Inc. using its experienced media and entertainment team and the resources of our Sister company, Keshet Technologies Inc., a first in Canada.

Our host, Debbie Moffat, is the founder of Keshet Technologies Inc. and Keshet Productions Inc. Debbie is also the 2005 winner of the Sara Kirke Award, as Canada's Leading Woman High Tech Entrepreneur of the Year. For the past three decades, Debbie has been an icon for the entrepreneurial spirit as a business founder, executive consultant and a community leader.

Fluent in Hebrew, Japanese and English, Debbie has consulted for prominent organizations world-wide, such as the Government of Canada, the United States Federal Government, a number of state and municipal governments, AMDOCS, BMW, Gateway, Lucent Technologies, Trane and Pepsico. Her success has been based on a personal philosophy of people and community wellness.

Debbie is not just a business woman; she is also a family woman and an animal lover, owning eight dogs. When Debbie is finally ready for some fun and relaxation, she turns to one of her greatest passions: woodworking and working with power tools. "I'm always making things that don't necessarily fall into a particular niche. They're just Thingamajigs. It's what I've always called them, Thingamajigs."

"Thingamajigs by Debbie" is what we like to call, "Do-it-herself TV." In each episode, Debbie and a special guest have a blast working on a new project. The guests are successful women from various walks of life, with their own experiences to share. It's "girl talk" and power tools. Some of Debbie's guests have included yoga instructor Georgia Morissette; expert craftsperson Kathy Monkman and Juno Award winning performer Sue Foley. Each project that is created on the show will be placed on EBay with the proceeds going to a charity chosen with the help of the guest.

"Thingamajigs by Debbie" is about fun and creativity, but it is also meant to empower women. "I want to get women in the workshop. I want to get them using power tools." Many of the guests have never used power tools before, but with Debbie's help, these women learn that power tools are nothing to be afraid of. "I want to cut through this notion that woodworking is a male thing. I know for a fact that once women get their hands on power tools, there will be no turning back."
