Suzanne has
been writing, directing, and producing video and television productions
with Carleton Productions for 6 years. During this time, Suzanne
has created several award-winning video products including gold
and bronze medal winners at the New York Festivals (From Nothing
to Something: The Nova Project, and Maclaren Street), Media Commendation
Award from the Canadian Association of Humane Societies, and a 1st
Place award from the American Correctional Association Film Festival
(From Nothing to Something: The Nova Project).
Suzanne’s broadcast documentaries, commercials, Public
Service Announcements and television series have appeared on broadcast
networks and specialty channels across Canada, including CTV (Farm
and Field, The Canadian Farm), APTN Sur Scene (Aboriginal People’s
Television Network) and The Green Channel (Farm and Field, The
Canadian Farm). Before her time at Carleton, Suzanne was assistant
director to Genie Award winning documentary filmmaker Christine
Richey.
Suzanne’s diverse production background and creative flair
have garnered her recognition from both peers and clients as one
of the most dynamic young writer/producer/directors in Ottawa. Suzanne’s
projects are well crafted, polished television, and are always produced
on time and on budget. Suzanne holds an Honours BFA in Film and
Video Production from York University.
